Sweet almond oil making soap very hot?

I'm making about 2 lbs of soap in block using: 30% palm oil 30% coconut oil 30% olive oil (virgin) 10% almond oil 3% superfat with 2:1 water to lye. I soap at about 100 deg F. When I pour in the lye water it goes to medium to thick trace really quick in maybe 1 min. My first batch I could...

Need some advice on fragrances especially vanilla.

I actually posted some of this stuff on reddit but didn't get a great reply. I want to use 'natural' fragrances. Normally this means essential oils, but some botanicals don't yield an essential oil. My main concern is vanilla. My second concern is that I heard that the saponification process...

    Essential oil labelling (EU)

It was my understanding that actual essential oils needed their INCI botanical name (on the label), but I just found an online retailer of 'natural' soaps who are using 'PARFUM' for (in their words) a custom blend of essential oils. Is anyone able to shed any light on this?
