Question about molds.

I got a bunch of goodies in today and plan on making my first ever anything! Sugar scrub cubes to be precise. I have a plastic mold that has 16 squares, perfect for cubes. Here is my question: Do I need to do anything to prepare the mold first? Or will they turn out okay? Thanks!

I would probably give them a wash and thoroughly dry them so no water or bacteria is introduced in to the product. That is just my opinion, maybe someone else that does those more will come along

I spray my molds and equipment with isopropyl alcohol to sanitize as a safety measure.
