HDPE molds question

I used my new HDPE mold today and found out that my soap sweat and crack in the middle. Does anyone have the same problem?

I insulated my soap with towel. I wonder if it was causing to be overheat.

It does sound like overheating. I've never had that problem with HDPE though and I insulate most batches. Now I'm wondering if I'm setting myself up to find an overheated batch one day.
