Can you use CP recipes for making HP soap???

I have been searching this and other forums for days trying to find this out and I'm sure theres a thread already with this question so If there is already, I apologize in advance.

I'm wanting to start experimenting with HP soap and having trouble finding recipes to start on. Can I take CP recipes and just make them HP?? And when I figure out things lye calculators are HP and CP interchangeable??

Yes and yes.

The only thing that you'll need to do differently with HP is to keep an eye on your water amount. Since you'll be cooking the soap, you'll get more evaporation happening, so you'll need to make sure you don't discount your water amount by too much. When I HP I use a 28% lye solution, which is considered a 'full water' amount.
