Spent several hours last nite watching Nancy Today. What a Hoot she is. She needs a reality show I think and she would be a star. I read a Martha Stewart article on the french soap and so I washed a few bars of my unscented plain soap just to see the difference. They look smoother and maybe the washing prevents ash formation? Now wishing I had the green clay too. The soap they had in the pictures was beautiful. I re batched my olive oil and coconut shaving soap and had fun with the process. I also learned that tea tree oil sticks to soap quite well even after heating. Next time I make that soap, I'm going to add some shavings of the plain soap to give the rest of the batch directions, lol. And also will have more patience to wait for the true trace. I should probably take out the new scale and wand mixer as well. Have a Great Day Everyone! :)
