I thought this was the standard result of rebatching? :shock: When I've got a dud batch I just grate it up for laundry powder. Easier to hide the evidence that way. :shh:

I would, but it's a Castille with 8% superfat.

To be honest, I thought the initial soap was quite pretty. I bet there are soapers out there wondering how to get a dye speckled bar.

That's easy. Try to get an evenly-colored one.

Really, it actually is easy. Add your powder-based colorant at moderate trace and thickening fast. You won't have enough time to mix it in before it goes to heavy trace and you either have to pour or get soap on a stick.

Bingo, speckled.
