how can you control gelling with soaping temps?
What temperature range prevents gel?

Gel or not to gel
I love the creamy bar look. I think we are so custom to seeing this type we have not appreciated the gel. quite honestly I don't really like Glycerin either.
I do not place it the fridge I just do most of my Non gel soap in the winter :wink: i place the mold on the steps in the back foyer.
In the summer .. I will make Gelled. since I use the heat and the back trunk of my car. to sustain the hight temps.
I have cpop soap also. where i place it in the over at 175 on COOKIE sheet
for 2 hours and i rotate every half ending up back to the same postion.
The soap looked so beautiful and creamy when I put it in the mold. The gelled look took the creamy look away...
