What is cold pack?

The only cold pack I am aware of is when you ship something *cold packed* like body butter in the hotter summer months.

CP soap means "cold pour" or "cold process" which means you don't add heat. You mix your stuff and let it saponify in the mold.

In contrast, HP means "hot process" which means you add heat to your ingredients so the saponification occurs in your pot and THEN you pack it into the mold.

Is that the cp I see places and how do you make it?
thanks Brenda :)

I interpreted the question to be "Does CP stand for cold pack and how do you make it?" I assumed she though 'cold pack' referred to a type of soap making. :D
