it depends. if you have heavy or mineral laden water then your soaps can be more DOS prone as the minerals can promote oxidation. my tap water is very soft and I have no issues with it, but where I used to live I'd get often DOS if I used the tap water so I stuck with distilled when I lived there.
but in most cases I believe tap is fine.
