These are also called "pencil lines." Basically, you pour a layer of soap and then sift a very thin layer of colorant (cocoa powder, spice, mica, whatever) and then pour more soap. You don't want to use too much or the layers will not bond together. This method is also more successful if you gel your soap.
 
On a YouTube tutorial the lady who does a beautiful pencil line shows you step by step how to do it. The site is soap 101, there are several soap 101 but this person has a weekly class and is out if New Orleans. I'll try to put a link in. But google soap 101, she's great and has lots of wonderful tutorials
 
I just love the soaping 101 lady's accent. :) She does some really cool soap designs too.
 
I love her too, I made her salt bars and they turned out prefect texture is great I'm waiting for them to complety cure to use one. Thankyou for adding the link
