One of my other hobbies is rock tumbling and often between the different size of grit, people run a little grated ivory and water to really clean the stones. Some people ask why ivory and everyone says because its pure so of course, I asked pure what? The most common answer its its pure, no scent or additives, I happily posted pictures of the label but no one wanted to be educated.

I bet that any soap you make at home would be “purer” than Ivory, lol
