I know EDTA and CA are popular chelators but does anyone use GLDA (Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate)?
I was wondering about the usage rate in CP soap?

GLDA has been hard to find in quantities small enough for most home/hobby crafters. More people here seem to be using sodium gluconate instead, which is easier to find. (Although maybe GLDA is now being sold in smaller quantities -- I haven't checked recently.)

Sodium gluconate appears to be as effective as EDTA, but, like GLDA, comes with fewer environmental concerns.
