Is the Tenderflake the same lard that can be used for laundry soap? I bought this and then thought I made a mistake, its been sitting for a while now.

Its pure lard isn't it? If so then yes, you can use it for soap. Coconut oil makes better laundry soap though, its more cleansing.

If it is pure lard the brand shouldn't matter. I use 100% lard for my laundry bars and do them with zero percent superfat and they work fabulous. So far my laundry bars are the only soaps that I hot process an they grate and grind into such a fine powder that when I make my laundry powder you can't tell what is my soap vs the borax and washing soda, it is just a perfect fine all white powder.

Thanks, I will double check that,

I was looking to do a 50/50 with coconut/lard or maybe all coconut, just wanting to make use of stuff sitting around and eliminate waste.
