Lard and tallow
I use both vegan and AF in my soaps. Thus far no one at all has ever asked what is in either of them but both are fully labelled as per Australian regulations anyway. I think the look fragrance and packaging seems to mean more than contents to most buyers.
I do think tallow makes a richer more mellow on the skin bar. Easier to make and unmould too IMHO.
Just had another thought...... Why are not milks, cow & goat, cream or butter thought of in same way? They too are animal products yes?
