Used scraps and trimmings from beveling and planing bars, melted in an improvised double doiler with some oil, colored with Select Shades and scented with DS Paradise.
They did and didn't work out, kinda. I used one in the shower just now and it was nice and scrubby and bubbly and my skin feels good from the oils, but you can see how they're sort of loose and crumbly in the pic, not dense solid little cubes like the M&P ones. They'll work just fine for me, and I don't care that they're soft, but the results aren't exactly what I was looking for.
I'm going to try again eventually, use more soap scraps and less oils, mess with the sugar amount some, and I'll see what happens, but that was try #1.
