this is a nice general "rule of thumb" recipe for potted perfume...lip pots and small slider tins work wonderfully...I found this recipe years ago from one of my suppliers:

http://www.fromnaturewithlove.com/recipe/recipe.asp?recipe_id=639

slider tin:

http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.co...oryID=1041&CategoryName=Silver+Lip+Slide+Tins

I use a water bath double boiler type method...for test batches you can microwave at a reduced power option.

3 part oil (any neutral smelling oil including almond, jojoba, etc or 76* coconut oil)
2 part beeswax
1 part fragrance

in percentages:

50% oil
33% beeswax
17% fragrance (yes, that's a lot)

here is where you have to tinker a bit...remember, this is PERFUME and needs to be stronger, but let's say you want to use 10% f/o, then increase the oils in the recipe by an additional 7%. it really all depends on how strong the f/o is to begin with...vanilla and soft scents will need more & a fresh lavender or pucker lemon scent you'll need less...you'll have to figure this part out yourself...if it's too mild, gently reheat & add a bit more f/o...make sure you keep notes, too!

a word of caution...please check thoroughly the recommended usage rate of any essential oils and fragrance oils...WSP & NG are very good about posting this info.

one other thing...if you add any firmer butters like palm, then you'll want to decrease the beeswax a tad bit.

:Kitten Love: plz remember, this is merely a guideline!
