Thanks for the links,

since this year i told my parents what I wanted from them for christmas..... I'm going to have my dad build me actual wood soap molds. LOL My parents are buidling/remodeling a house (their second) so this project will be a quick afternoon project for him. Now i can give him the exact measurments that I want my soap molds to be based on the boxes that I can buy. *grins*

Has anyone used gift wrap or wallpaper? I've tried it but it all looks cheap. Any good ideas with this? It is probably inexpensive.

I've actually used white viva paper towels and pretty fabric (with cold process soap) cut down to the exact size because I didn't want to use plastic.

And added a sticky label.

I don't sell, but I like the stuff I give as gifts to look "professional". Last year I did cigar bands with christmas wrap or printer made wrap. This year I purchased shrink wrap bands (Dan's bands) from the Sage http://www.thesage.com/catalog/ShrinkWrap.html and made a business card type label that I placed under the label before shrink wrapping. I think it looks great.

I use a cigar band under shrink wrap I cut from a 1300 foot long role. Here is a picture....

It looks good and I have about 2 cents per par in packaging costs!

Paul....

That box looks nice, Ed! I have never found the price low enough to justify buying them. Best price for a white box with a cut out is about 50 cents each or so in quantity. Just looked at some today. Yours looks very nice and with the hang tag, very elegant! 8)
