since this year i told my parents what I wanted from them for christmas..... I'm going to have my dad build me actual wood soap molds. LOL My parents are buidling/remodeling a house (their second) so this project will be a quick afternoon project for him. Now i can give him the exact measurments that I want my soap molds to be based on the boxes that I can buy. *grins*
 
I've actually used white viva paper towels and pretty fabric (with cold process soap) cut down to the exact size because I didn't want to use plastic.

And added a sticky label.
 
I use a cigar band under shrink wrap I cut from a 1300 foot long role. Here is a picture....

It looks good and I have about 2 cents per par in packaging costs!

That box looks nice, Ed! I have never found the price low enough to justify buying them. Best price for a white box with a cut out is about 50 cents each or so in quantity. Just looked at some today. Yours looks very nice and with the hang tag, very elegant! 8)
