Some people make regular bar soap and use as shampoo bars. However, the pH is too high and should really not be used for hair. It does seem to work ok for some people though.
Several people on this forum are working on making syndet shampoo bars. Just do a search for syndet and several will come up with information on synthetic shampoo bars.
I can’t link to them on my iPad however, if you do a search you’ll find several threads on this subject. I’m one who tried soap and ruined my hair. I don’t make CP shampoo nor do I recommend it.
