Shrink band question

I feel stupid asking this question, because it seems like it would have an obvious answer, but it sure isn't obvious to me.

For those of you who use shrink bands for your CP soaps, do you put your cigar bands/labels/whatever you use under the shrink band or outside? I can see doing it either way. It seems like the shrink band would keep the label from getting dirty or smudged, but I worry about the soap making oily spots on the paper over time.

So what do you do?

I don't see cured cp soap leaving oily marks on a cigar band. Either way is fine just make sure it can breathe.

I use shrink bands and label on the outside, front and back. I tried putting them inside but found that if it got hot/humid somtimes moisture would mar the labels.

I have used shrink bags to completely cover my cured soap. I then label the outside.
