Scale Trouble!

Hello,

I attempted to make a batch of olive oil soap last night, but noticed that on my recipe I had printed out from Soap Calc called for 866g of water, but when I measured the water on my scale, it read as 780g. Is this something that I should be concerned about? Thank you for your help.

Potentially yes. Why did not not use the amount of water called for in the recipe?

Were you trying to do a water discount to trace quicker since its Olive Oil? Thats a REALLY big batch if your starting out, what was your recipe? It could potentially be lye heavy.
