Salt Bar

Be assured that at 15-20% superfat, and 75-80% the weight of oils in salt, this is one of my favorite soaps to use (and my husband's favorite as well). My skin dries out pretty easily and my salt bars haven't bothered me yet! Try it and be amazed!

I'm going to go ahead and try that for my next batch of soap and post the results. Wish me luck!

Something thats really nice too is 1/2 goats milk as the liquid!

I've never used DSS in my salt bars. I understand that it will kill the lather or really lower it. I've got about 20 pounds of it sitting here and had my eye on it for salt bars...then I read that it will really take away from the lather. Glad I didn't waste it.
