Has anyone used polysorbate-80 as an emulsifying additive in their bath products? I read a description of it with contradicting descriptions that
A - it is insoluable in oils
and
B - when added to liquid oils it creates blooming bath foam.
So my question is, why would you add it to oils if it won't dissolve on it's own? Wouldn't you have to use another emulsifier to keep it all together? What uses does polysorbate-80 have in bath products?
