Any suggestions on a leave in conditioner for thick, course hair?
Thanks!!

I used the just water soluble part of my hair conditioner and put it in a spray bottle. I spray some on after I shampoo and condition and get out of the shower. I have liked the effect.

100 gr distilled water
1 gr honeyquat
1 gr wheat protine
2 gr 100x aloe powder
1 gr preservative

1 gr EO This is not water soluble, but the scent at least seems to come through.

Bittercreek North has a proetien mist base that is a fabulous detangler, leave in conditioner.

WSP has a great conditioner base. A girl at my work will use nothing else!

I can't remember the exact recipe, but there's a recipe for conditioner using BTMS (aka emulsifying conditioner) that watered down further, works quite well.

It was something like:
85% distilled water
4% Aloe Juice
6% BTMS
5% Vegetable Glycerine
Pinch Rosemary Extract is always good for the hair
Preservative

I would try watering this down by 50-75% for a spray in conditioner. Anyways, play around with it, but it does work. You can of course add in other things great for hair as listed above by someone. I've read that marshmallow extract (or something like that) is effective.
