Every Thanksgiving I deep fry a turkey and I always have some UNUSED oil left over. So I'm wondering if I can use this oil to make soap if it's just been hanging around for awhile. It has been sealed in its container, but I probably can't/won't use it for cooking.

I would use it in small amounts if you do, I believe it's very prone to rancidity. Although I have never used it due to peoples allergies to peanuts.

I have a recipe for Peanut Butter soap that uses peanut oil & peanut butter if you'd like it. I havent tried it yet. Im a recipe junkie like my mom. I collect recipes from the internet & books in hopes of 1 day trying them!

I agree about small amount and I think it would be hard to market with people having peanut allergies.
