Orange absolute holding scent

I made some Orange absolute oil with some vodka. Will this hold better in soap?

high percentage of alcohol will make the soap batter seize.....

I evaporated all the vodka out of the oil after it was done.

you can give it a try, but I've heard many instances of soap seizing when a higher alcohol substance has been added, even if after evaporation (there's always still residual alcohol left). only way to know is to do a test batch and see if it works. good luck and keep us posted.

I tried it, and it didn't hold the scent. It did not seize, however. Anyway to make this work? I'll probably get orange FO instead.

have you tried 10x orange EO? you can add clay to hold the scent. I've read also litsea EO holds citrus scents
