New to soaps

Hey there.... I'm new to the soap world. I've been making salves for a bit and have been very successful with them. I realize this is a new world and trying to learn all I can. Have tried a few batches of soap, was definitely too aggressive with the recipes I chose, so I'm going to take a step back, gain some confidence using soap bases and go from there.

Welcome to the forum. IMO, it is best to start with simple recipes and work your way forward. The "Trinity" is a good place to start.

Hello. Agree with @lsg un starting with the trinity. If you want to dress it up practice adding one color or mica. Also making small one pound/454 gram soap batches is an excellent way to learn. Welcome to this forum. Glad you are having another go at making soap.
