So new I’m stumbling around trying to put my ID together: edits to come. Both retired and artists, Hubs and I recently dismantled our studio, gave away our art supplies, and are re-staging for soap and candle making. Experience: one batch of MP “rock crystals” violently colored, chopped up for inclusions; subsequent batch of rocks mixed with more base of a different manufacture, unknown ingredients. Added a couple TBSP chrome oxide green and didn’t like effect, tried to modify it by adding red pigment, came out the color of unsweeted cocoa powder. Did I mention scenting the 2-Lb batch with 1 Oz green tea and ginger oil? Concluded that I’m “not ready for prime time”.
