Has anyone had experience with Mica colors staining tubs? Personally the salts don't color our tubs, but, some clients have complained that theirs have. I think that when a tub has a film on it, the color might stick to that...

Hi Paulina,

I have heard this from several people when they use MICAS
They also tried to make their Bath Salts very dark which end up staining their tubs.
I am not sure of the exact issue, but I can check if it had a film on it to confirm.

I prefer liquid dyes for that reason. The powders are just too concentrated for bath salts, I think.

I used a powdered color in a bath salt I made recently and it did indeed stain my tub.

I to a pop mica in a test bath salt and it stained my brand new whirlpool tub, most of it has gone, but had it been a customer, yikes!!
