lye left out

I mixed my lye this morning and ran a few errands, it has been out uncovered for about 5 hours will it be too week to use now?

the lye solution won't get any weaker unless you add liquid. if water has evaporated it'll be stronger. if you are concerned it may be too concentrated (and make your batch accelerate or whatever) you can always weigh it and add in any missing water.

As they said, it doesn't get weaker from sitting. Shoot, my favorite thing to do is to pre-measure and mix my oils and do the same for my lye and water. Then the next day (or week) I know that for a given volume of each of the room-temp components how long I need to microwave it to have the exact temperature I want. It is kind of like cooking mis en place.
