Hello! I had a couple of requests to make a Shampoo bar. I've made some in the past but I have yet to find something that I really like and want to stick with or sell. I've searched for some recipes but they all have at least 8 different types of oil that I'd have to buy specifically for the shampoo bars. Does anyone have a really good, simple shampoo recipe that only has a few easy to find oils? Thanks!

If you are talking about lye soap as shampoo you please think twice about making such and selling soap as shampoo. It can be very damaging to hair, due to the natural high ph of soap. Just do some searches in the forum there are many threads on the subject and some very recent threads.

Shampoo bars are syndet bars when in bar form, which are made with mild Surfactants with a lower ph. Liquid shampoo is also surfactant based and not bad for hair. "Soap" is simply not Shampoo, it is Soap.
