Licorice F/O

I bought some licorice F/O that my supply shop had on sale. Now I'm looking for a licorice soap recipe and all I'm coming up with is recipes made with Anise E/O.
Can I use licorice F/O in place of Anise E/O ?

Is there another F/O that would mix nicely with licorice in soap, or should I leave it to stand alone?

I used some Licorice FO the other day - I matched it with sweet vanilla (non-browning). The sweetness of the vanilla mellowed the licorice just right. I'm sure there are others too, but I'd tend to go with sweet FOs. It is a food flavour, so think of what other flavours you'd find with it as a food.
