Is SoapCalc always correct?

I cannot imagine this soap would be as bubbly as one made with coconut, castor, palm kernal oil or babassu. Have you ever tried some handmade soap made with those? The palm, olive and sunflower do produce a bit of creamy lather. But normally beeswax tend to kill bubbles too.

I'd say, put some olive oil on your hands, rub it in, and go wash your hands with your soap. If it doesn't leave your hands greasy afterwards, it might be just a little bit cleansing.

You said you used more lye than advised? I hope you still superfatted...

I'd personally prefer a different recipe though :wink:
