I cannot find it. Either on here, or in the Soaping101 Study hall, someone posted a tutorial for taking all of your soap scraps to "clean" them of all the unnecessary additives to make soap for laundry purposes. Please, someone tell me they know what I am talking about? Basically you boil all of your scraps, I think with salt? and it helps separate out all the other stuff (colorants/exfolliants/etc) and then your by product can be used in laundry soap.

I would really like to use my scraps to make more laundry soap with, but I know they have too high % of superfat, so is there a way that I could calculate how much lye I need to rebatch and remove the superfat? Or could excess oil be "floated off" in this cleaning process?

Alright, I am done torturing you all with my nonsense. If you know what I am talking about, please let me know!
