insect repellant recipes?

"Well it's summer time and the weather is hot", and the bugs are biting. Does anyone have any bug repellant recipes? I'm trying to make a natural one for my family. I apprecitate any help.

Bug Repellant

I get my essential oil blend from Down to Earth Oils in Wilmington, NC. And she sells a "Bug Away" blend. I have used this in a body spray for working outdoors as well as in soap for my dogs.

I have seen citronella oil for sale on soap supply sites , to make a bug off soap. I haven't tried it yet , though. I think it would be great for camping , anything is better than slathering yourself with deet.

There are a couple like that. Would be interested. I just made a stick with citronella, eucolyptus and cedar. Have yet to see if it works.
