How to tell

I'm in the middle of a batch of soap, it's in the oven right now and it's supposed to gel. I just realized I need some help on how to tell if my soap is gelling. Please use small words, sometimes it takes me a bit to grasp things, lol.

Basically just let it be. Turn off the oven though and then let it sit overnight. It will be fine...

When soap gels it looks kind of see through instead of being opaque... if its in the oven it will definitely gel though as the heat helps accelerate the process.
