Hey Paul! Thanks for the welcome!

Sounds like a plan! My son and daughter in law live in Springfield so I'm down there quite a bit. I would love to meet up with you and your wife and talk/swap soap!

I live in a smaaaaallllllllllllll town (Bland) about 25 minutes from Rolla.

The Show-Me's are invading!

I still haven't yet gotten to make my first batch, but I should have all my stuff today!

Your soaps are beautiful! You wouldn't be interested in sharing that Kitchen Helper bar recipe, would you? That just sounds ingenius!

Welcome!

Surely I will. I just use a basic soap recipe like this one I got from Miller Soaps. http://millersoap.com/

44 oz. beef tallow
20 oz. olive oil
20 oz. coconut oil
12 oz. lye crystals
32 oz. cold water - (you can substitute double strength coffee)

At trace I just add some coffee grounds and orange EO.

Easy, easy, easy...

Those coffee scrubby bars sure clean greasy dirty hands well. Another bonus is that the coffee neutralizes bad smells on the skin. Good stuff coffee scrubby soaps are!
