Hello from Texas

I'm a soap newbie. I have a close friend who gave me some goat milk soap she'd made and I fell in love with it. I'm currently waiting on my second batch to cure and can already tell I'm going to really enjoy making soap. Especially after seeing some of the beautiful ones in the gallery.

As usual when I start a new venture I searched for an active forum and this one seems great. I've been lurking for a few days and have already learned alot. Thanks in advance to all who share their knowledge and the patience to answer the same questions over from newbies.

I'm a retired Pharmacy Tech and spend my days either knitting or on my Harley...or both!
