Hi everyone. I recently joined the Soapmaking Forum and am very excited to be a part of such a great online community. Soapers are the best!
I've been a soapmaker for 10 years but took a long break (to raise kids, move around the country, you know, life stuff). Now I'm back and I'm loving it. I started Latherati Soap Foundry on etsy not too long ago. All of my handmade soap and bath and body products are inspired by books. I'm a huge reader and I could always get a sense (or scents!) of what the place/character/setting/whatever would smell like. So, I combined my love of books with my other passion, soapmaking and Latherati was born.
I live in central NY with two of my children (my oldest is away at college), one dog and a pet rat. I work full-time as a legal secretary but every chance I get, I make soap, think about soap, read about soap...you get the idea.
Anyway, just wanted to say hello.
