My wife and I have been wanting to make our own soap and candles for some time now. Here we are.

Where's the newbie section?

Welcome to the forum.

There isn't a newbie section per se. When I joined I started on the forum I was interested in and read the threads. I didn't get through all the pages (this is a huge site) but I got through enough which helped me to learn. After that I used the search function to find answers to my questions. I asked for help if I didn't find an answer. A lot of times I asked questions on other people's threads. Yeah, I have a bad habit of hijacking other people's threads. But I'm trying to be better about it.

I would start with the CP soap section and read, read and read some more. Miller Soap web site is another good web site to study.
