Hi to the people of this forum

I'm making castile soap this very moment. I became interested in it because I wanted to avoid Xenoestrogen type ingredients. But it seems like it would be a fun hobby.
I'm using a recipe I found online but I'm a little worried about it. I'm at the stage where I diluted and it's been in the crock pot 3 hours since then but seems like the water evaporated--way too thick and clumpy. I think the crockpot was too hot for this stage at first..

Howdy from Colorado! Congrats on making your first soap! However, this is the introduction forum. We have another forum for help with recipes. You'll need to post your recipe with all the details and it sounds like you're making liquid soap, so mention that too. Here's a link to recipe feedback:

In the meantime, while you're here, please tell us a little more about yourself...
