DH made some new molds for me today & I had to try them out. I didn't insulate because this was one HOT soap. I figured it would gel no problem, but as you can see I only got a partial. Anyways, I'm loving the new molds.

Some have nice straight lines, like these, but I tried to get creative & messed it up a bit so some have a wave to them (see below)

Angbaby - I love the shape and size! And I like the wave - looks like some of mine  Those straight lines are some kind of awesome though - I wouldn't dare to try a straight line to save my life....that's why I make wavies

Tanya :)

I like them, very nice colour especially the green, How do they smell? it's times like this I wish there was such a thing as "scratch n sniff" soap monitor lol.

They look great! Love the two-tone!
And the scale, I bought that same exact one last night.

I love the scale, but beware it does do the auto power off. :x
They smell very manly! I 'm getting ready for a show in early October. I know that's a good ways off, but I really have a ton of other stuff to do before then, so I'm busy making soap for it! I also made Eternity for men last night & I am about to get ti out of the mold. I'm sure I got partial gel on it as well, but it should be one cool looking bar!

I like the bumps in the bottom layer- In fact, I like some of the bars in the rear that have a little of the bottom layer color in the green- very nice!

After we sprayed a clear coat on it, I applied the vinyl that I cut on my plotter to it (you will see in the unmolded pic because I forgot to take a pic of that)

Here's my Green Irish Tweed in the mold. I really thought it was going to overheat, so I didn't put the top (which is just a leftover bit of wood) on the mold.

Here's the mold after we got the soap out of it. I was so siked about my new molds I totally forgot to spray them with the mineral oil, so I had a little bit of soap stuck to the vinyl.

Here are more of my cut bars.

Nice soap and molds!! I really like your color combo.

Way to go! :)

I am curious about your mold lining. You that you applied the vinyl.
Does that mean that you attached it permanently? It looks like it is glued? to the wood.
That would be a nice alternative to lining a mold with paper.

Your packaging is grand!

Yes it is permanently adhered to the wood. I have a sign & graphics business, so I just cut the vinyl on my plotter. It's the same vinyl they use on banners for lettering. I had some waste pieces left over from a job & used them. The first time I didn't use anything on them as a release agent. They stuck & were hard as heck to get out of the mold, but finally did come out. Last night I made an OMH, & wiped them down with a little mineral oil. They came out great, after sitting in the freezer for a little bit. Monday I will be making a few more batches & I am going to use a food grade silicone spray that I picked up. Hopefully that will be the one that I don't have to stick in the freezer.

Interesting idea with the vinyl. The molds looks great! I love your soap too. The gaelic font on the label is perfect.

Thanks all! More soap porn tomorrow, I made an awesome OMH! I was lazy today & spent the whole day at the beach with my family & a few friends. Back to soaping my butt off tomorrow.
