French Lavender FO - does it always discolour?

I used French Lavender FO (from Canwax) for the first time and my soap is slowly turning brown.

Is this common with all French Lavenders? I've only ever used 40/42.

I love how the french smells and want to try another brand if they don't all discolour.

I've never had a lavender FO or EO discolor.

Must have a vanilla in it.

I just used Natures Garden French Lavender fo and it definitely darkens. I guess it depends on where you get it from. :?

:? The French lavender I bought in France did not discolor. I think NG's French lavender is an FO with added vanilla. Don't know about Canwax though...
