Hi all. If i want to make a white lard based soap with a FO that discolors to off white, specifically BB Pineapple Papaya, will TD do that for me, or am i stuck with off white?

If its just a light tan or off white, TD should be enough. If its leaning towards light brown, you probably need a vanilla stabilizer

TD should fix that. You could also try some white kaolin clay.

I have that too. I have been using it in all my soaps lately. I have a speckle problem with my soap that i cant seem to fix. But i guess if its a white soap it wont matter lol

The struggle is real. I read a very funny post in another group from a soaper who was cussing out TD in general. It had a lot of asterisks, and ended with something like, "DIE DIE DIE!!!!" I think that post had 1000 likes and loves. 😁

You can try different brands of TD, or dispersing it in glycerin rather than water or oil. Or break up with TD and use white mica.
