I'm so excited
I just made my first Castille type soap tonight, for a friend's little baby, and everything went smoothly. It didn't take ages to trace, just a little longer than usually, and although I was worried about how well the lye would dissolve into less water, it was ok, just took more stirring.
I'm not ready for a true Castille yet -mainly because I'm not a big fan of it although it's the most common traditional soap in Greece, but that was a start!
This is my combination
75% OO
10% PO
10% CO
5% SB
Water:Lye ratio 1.5:1
SF 7%
And feeling particularly bold, I even tried a Lyn's top, and I think it was not so bad
I'll try to upload some pics tomorrow when I'll cut it.
