EO instead of herbal infusion?

Hello everyone,

Since I'm fairly new to soapmaking this might be a 'stupid' question
I'm going to make my very first shampoo bar and was wondering if I could add EO instead of the herbal infusion mentioned in some recipes. Do I loose to many beneficial qualities if I don't incorporate it in the recipe and only use the EO of the mentioned herb?

You can use essential oils instead, but be careful to follow the safe usage guidlines for each EO and be careful not to overdo the total amount of EOs used.
