Does 20% pko.....

Making a quick batch to use up materials. Does 20% pko, 20% palm, 10% cocoa butter, the rest oo and castor make a waxy bar?

No, I use 40% palm in my vegan recipe. It will result in a hard bar depending on your NaOH concentration. Just check it and do not let it sit in the mold a long time.

Thanks, it has 45% olive oil and I’ll be making solid colors, so using a 30% lye solution. I have this three liter olive oil container to use up!

Update on this: Dang! This is a nice bar of soap! With that much oo I thought it would be 2 months or more before it was decent. It's milder and bubbly at 1 month than my other new recipe at 8 weeks.

I'm impressed with it; just might continue making this one. First - I'll have to use it daily and see if it absorbs too much water for it to be a daily use soap. But I'm really happy considering this was meant to simply use up old oo and unwanted pko.
