colorant question

This may have been covered in depth but I need to ask. I've been making soap for almost a year now and I am having a problem with the colorants. I'm using chromium oxides and I'm getting color on my wash cloth. I've reduced the amount used to 1/8 tsp. per pound and I still get the color on the cloth. I'm using the soap after about 4 weeks. Do I need to cure it longer or try something. else. Do mica's work better. I make cp soap. thanx

Soap stable mica would solve the problem.
