Would this serve as a perservative?

I add 0.5% each Sodium Gluconate and EDTA combined for a total 1% as a chelator. I do apologize if I did not clarify it was a total of 1% for the combination. This is 1% of my total batch weight not my weight of oils only.

I add 2% Citric acid (plus the extra lye required) and EDTA to every soap. I add 5 grams EDTA per the recommendation by Kevin Dunn.
