Can a layer of cp or hp be put on top of a rebatch?

curious... my rebatch would be medium brown, I would like a lighter layer on top (or bottom).

Yes, I have and I am pretty sure a few others here have as well. Not exactly the same, but quite close. HP new soap, add in shredded soap, keep cooking while old soap melts into new soap, add yogurt to help with fluidity. I have also added a color line to an HP rebatch and done layered colors with New & Old soap in quite the same way. The only real difference for me is that I don't hold any oil to the end like she does.
